Monessen Clean Up Day Details -Sat. Sept. 19th

Monessen will hold its City-Wide Cleanup this Saturday, September 19, 2020, from 9 am to 12 noon.

We are asking all participants to meet at 9th Street Park at approximately 8:45 am for organizing and information sharing. We are hoping for a great turnout but depending on the number of residents participating we will then determine where we will focus our efforts. The city would like to focus on 3rd, 6th, 9th Streets, Knox Avenue, Parente Blvd. and the Downtown Business District if possible. The City received donations from Westmoreland Co. Cleanways (Gloves, Vests, Bags), Lowe’s of Belle Vernon (Bags, Gloves) and Monessen Foodland (Masks). Salvation Army (water). The ability of how many areas are cleaned depends on the turn out of volunteers. Residents may also choose to clean their own properties or neighborhoods as they desire. Please join us in this community effort to clean up our city. See you Saturday!
